Cayuga Nature Center Lodge

Cayuga Nature Center's main property is located 6 miles north of Ithaca and less than 2 hours from Binghamton, Syracuse, and Rochester. Nestled on a hillside overlooking Cayuga Lake, the rustic lodge and 125 acres of nature preserve provide a unique setting for a variety of group events.
The Lodge

The winterized lodge is available for weekend, evening or weekday rentals. Overnight accommodations include two bunk rooms that sleep 24 each, special arrangements can be made for additional sleeping space, bathrooms with showers, a large kitchen, dining room, multipurpose room with fireplace and an enclosed front porch overlooking Cayuga Lake. The surrounding 135 acres of fields, streams and woodlands provide areas for hiking, cross- country skiing and nature study. Self-guided trails provide an opportunity to identify wildflowers, trees and learn the history of the area. A hike down the Wishing Tree Trail leads to the Pioneer Homestead cabin and Native Fruit Garden. Recreational areas may be set up for volleyball, horseshoes, archery, winter tubing and tobogganing.
