Public Programs

The Cayuga Nature Center offers environmental programming to the local community. Some events are walk-in, while others may require pre-registration. Below is a list of some of our recurring events. Please check our Calendar for dates and times of upcoming programs.

Cayuga Nature Center is a great place to spend weekend afternoons! Our Weekend Program Series offers a variety of programs for the whole family each Sunday afternoon on our 140 acres of forests and fields! Don't forget to dress warm!
PeeWees is a creative and educational 6-week program designed to delight and inspire! Join us as we explore our natural wonders at the CNC. The PeeWee Naturalist program is for 3-5 yr old children and their caregivers. Special nature themes will be explored at each session. Daily activities include both indoor and outdoor activities, which integrate concepts such as art, socialization, physical senses, science, social studies, and language. Pre-registration is requested.
Night Hikes

Start off at twilight for a one hour hike on our trails. Bring a flashlight and a friend! We'll end with a small campfire, so bring marshmallows if you like! Held on Even Fridays (any friday with an even date)
