CNC's main property is located 6 miles north of Ithaca and less than 2 hours from Binghamton, Syracuse, and Rochester. Nestled on a hillside overlooking Cayuga Lake, the rustic lodge and 125 acres of nature preserve provide a unique setting for a variety of group events. Cayuga Nature Center is open to the public, free of charge, 365 days a year with 5 miles of trails, live animals to visit, and exhibits to explore in our interpretive center. Cayuga Nature Center also offers a wide variety of programs to serve every age. In addition to the Taughannock Boulevard location, CNC owns a farm on Garrett Road. These areas are open to the public. The Cayuga Nature Center is dedicated to keeping these magnificent properties available to anyone who wishes to visit them. To continue to offer nature programs, a place to explore or enjoy a peaceful woodland walk, local support is critical. Membership is encouraged and gifts of any size are greatly appreciated and fully tax deductible. |
