Cayuga Nature Center (CNC) is a nonprofit, private organization dedicated to providing education for schools, community groups and the general public throughout the year. Programs are for anyone interested in learning more about the environment, the out-of-doors and themselves.

Cayuga Nature Center Lodge Hours Sept-June: Daily 9-3 June - August: 8:30am-5pm
Admission:	$3 Adult (12-54) $2 Senior (55 & up) $2 Student (with Student ID) $1 Child (2-11) Children 2 & under are free CNC members are always free

General Program Objectives of the Cayuga Nature Center

To promote awareness and understanding of the environment and people's relation to it.

To promote the concern and responsible action necessary to preserve the integrity of the natural world and to improve the quality of life.

To provide environmental education opportunities for people of all ages and incomes.

To provide participants with experience that may develop into lifetime, professional and/or leisure skills.

To provide small group-learning situations in a relaxed atmosphere in order to overcome some of the difficulties involved in learning in large groups.

To provide a program setting in which individuals with emotional, physical and cognitive disabilities can have the opportunity to succeed and excel.

To provide participants with an opportunity to gain awareness and knowledge in a wide variety of subject areas through hands-on learning.

To provide programs for family participation.

To provide and maintain a residential nature center for the promotion of outdoor education.

To operate in a sound financial manner using generally accepted accounting principles.
